I read the first review about this item and thought I would go ahead and give the press a chance. Unfortunately the review was right and the press is junk. The bed plate has nothing for the bottom roller to catch on so when you crank the handle the bottom roller just spins and the bed plate stays in one spot. I tried scoring the bottom of the bed plate to give the roller something to catch on to, but it did not work. I would not recommend this!!

Good for etching, thin block paper plate lithography printing. Student/beginner press. Best value in its grade.Instruction of using Etching Press: 1) Place the press on board or table. Please note:There are four rectangular holes. You can bolt down the press on the board. (Fastening bolt or devices not included.)2) Attach the handle to the press. Make sure to place the tightening bolt on the Flat side of the metal stick so to avoid "slippery" when you crank the handle.3) Place the metal plate and the felt between the two Rolling bars: One end starts between the bars, and the other end will rest on the supporting beam. (Leaving the metal plate on board -- below both rolling bars, the press can't move the plate. Improper usage will causing unnecessary dissatisfaction.)4) Lift the Felt and place inked art, and paper on the metal plate, and cover them with the Felt. 5) Adjust the Two Pressure control handles to appropriate position. Make sure there is enough room between the two rolling bars to let the plate, felt and art work pass through yet with appropriate pressure to achieve a good print. 5) Crank the handle slowly and make sure the plate and art pass the bars smoothly. Please provide physical address for delivery of this item.Thanks.Please note this is an economic student and beginner grade press. Good for carry to class and do a simple demo. Be fair minded when you purchase this Press: if you expect this Press to be as good as the professional Press, then stop. Any professional press sells at $1000 and $5000. Compare our price, even this same press is listed over $200 by other suppliers. Please contact us for appropriate assembly and usage instruction so to get a fair view of this press.
