(More customer reviews)Many years ago I had another make of this device, simply called "The Bullet". it was higher quality although very similar in design and identical in appearance.
The entire "barrel portion" unscrewed to fill, instead of like this one -just the bottom "disc" of its base. The barrel of the former device was also made of brown tinted glass, which gave it a more solid feel. Those attributes can be dismissed one way or the other so far as their value and benifit.
However, what cannot be overlooked with this newer rendition is the potential for leaks. I have "parked" the valve at 90 degrees to try to prevent it, but if you carry this in your pocket it's bound to be rotated. The valve lever itself seems to ride on an O-ring and can even "back out" totally, if you pull on it.
In any case, any "powdery substance" contained in this device can leak out if you are not extremely watchful.
So depending on the "worth of your stash", you may want to search on - if you are looking for the ultimate device.
