(More customer reviews)I modeled a tiny thumbnail sized test face to see how well it sculpts and dries, and it turned out fine. Took me longer than I wanted it to, though. But then I modeled a full body with cloth, props, and a small child. For starters, it contains paper-like fibers which cause it to clump when dragging a blade through for cutting and shaping. These fibers also give it a squishy, spongy, fluffy feeling, not the dense consistency you'd look for in modeling clay. It also doesn't like to stick to itself when folding or adding. I kept having to spray water, not so it prevents drying (takes 24 hours), but so it can re-liquefy the mud and allow all the fibers to move freely. Yes I said mud, it's very muddy. My opinion is that this product is great for children who model crazy and thickly shapes and those who want to have a ball pretending to be Martha Stewart. But if you're looking to sculpt complex shapes that require precise cutting and smoothing like one 'o them famous 1600's guys, don't bother. You'll want to cry like I did 4 hours into a half done model. I do hear it's great for stamping though! Oh one more downside, that tiny face I made, even though it was dry on the outside, I pried it off the surface I modeled it on, and it only dried 2mm through the surface. Oven drying at 300 for 20 minutes fixed that.
