(More customer reviews)I absolutely love this product! I have painted with acrylics for a number of years, though recently a bit more seriously than in the past. One of the things I like about acrylic paint is that it dries quickly on the canvas, allowing me to layer colors one on top of the other in a short period of time. The tradeoff with using acrylic paints (vs. oils for example) is that paint not only dries quickly on canvas, but on your palette as well, requiring the use of a spray bottle of water or some other medium to slow this process down while working.
I was skeptical of how well this product would work, but have been incredibly impressed with the results.
I am enrolled in a painting class once a week in the evening, and always had to be careful not to have much paint left on my palette by the end of class since it would never "keep" for any amount of time. Using the Sta-Wet Palette, I sealed up the box after class and left it in my car for two days (in hot California weather) and my my paints were still perfectly wet and mixable!
Well worth the investment for any acrylic artist. You will save paint and enjoy having the option of walking away from a piece and coming back to it without having to get out all of your supplies all over again.

Both professionals artists and hobbyists have requested a larger palette surface to lay out more colors and still have plenty of mixing room. The Premier measures 12 times; 16 times; 1-3/4, with the same snug fitting, air-tight lid as the Artist Palette Seal.
