(More customer reviews)A godsend for mixed media! I use this matte varnish as "glue" to collage tiny pieces of watercolor paper onto a canvas or board. Sometimes the canvas is painted with acrylics and other times the pieces are glued to unpainted gessoed canvas. I've tried other kinds of golden acrylic medium, but the others all have disadvantages. This varnish works best. When the work is finished, I put several coats of the varnish over the whole canvas. And I sometimes use gloss medium over parts of the matte varnish to alternate shiny surfaces with matte surfaces. I love this product. Big thumbs up.
