(More customer reviews)I found this airbrush while browsing here on Amazon and after reading about it's features I just had to have it. Now it's not perfect, nothing ever is, but it is really close. I'm going to start with the good first.
First off, the price for a gun of this quality is excellent. Usually you'd pay around $200 or more for an airbrush like this. The gun itself has a nice weight to it that I really like and it's pretty well balanced. The paint cup is a good size especially if your doing any large mural work (automotive or otherwise). If you need a larger container it comes with a glass jar that's about double the size of the cup. The kit also comes with an adaptor that allows you to use an Iwata hose if you don't have a badger one. Now the airbrush works great, I almost never have to clean paint off of the tip. It gives continually crisp fine lines and works beautifully for all airbrush applications (especially freehand work). I don't even use my Iwata anymore, this is now my primary airbrush and short of spending $500 for a custom micron I don't see that changing any time soon
** Now for the Bad **
Ok, so that Badger to Iwata hose connector that I mentioned leaks air like crazy, I suggest you invest in a Badger hose or if your careful you might be able to use some teflon tape on it (but the area is really small so I wouldn't recommend it). The trigger when I got it would kind of catch when I pulled it back. So I took it apart and it was the rocker lever behind the trigger that wasn't moving as smoothly as it should've, I put a little drop of Super Lube on each side of the Rocker Pin and moved it back and forth. Then I wiped off the excess and put it back together and I haven't had a problem with it since. Maybe they forgot to oil it at the factory, who knows. Now this next problem here isn't a big deal for me but it could be a deal breaker to someone else. Sometimes when you use the large glass jar it will fall out, not something that I really care about because I only use it for cleaner but if you were working on a horizontal surface and the jar fell onto it, it would really suck. So just be careful with the jar and make sure it's in all the way before you go anywhere near your project.
Overall an excellent airbrush that I recommend to anyone looking for a quality airbrush for a reasonable price. I know I'll be using it for many years to come, maybe you should be too.
