I have also long used them for application of thin layers and detailing in oil painting; they take much longer to curl, fray, and become worthless than other brushes I have tried. My style requires a lot of repetitive small gestures and varying pressures, and the Galeria alone seems to be able to stand up to it. As a working artist without big government grants or a sugar daddy, having an affordable brush that can stand up to abuse is very important to me!
