(More customer reviews)This is a very versatile product. I was actually looking for a half or full pan watercolor, but this was "all I could find," but it turns out to be much better. It gives you control on how much sheen you want and mixes with various mediums so it's more than for just for the watercolorist. I have enjoyed playing with it to explore all the different kinds of effects you can achieve with it. It can be quite subtle or quite metallic.

Schmincke Watercolor Bronze Powders...These bronze powders are excellent for adding metallic color to your watercolor or gouache paintings. These powders are blended with a dry dextrine-glue binder. By simply adding water you will obtain highly brilliant metallic watercolors ready to paint. These are excellent quality colors imported from Germany. The images shown here do not really do them justice they are much more metallic than they appear on our site.
