The colors are close to their Rembrandt professional range in brilliancy, saturation is slightingly less. I like this set much better than the new blue pocket box that is out now, this one is much more hardy as the other cracks rather easily. The mixing pallet comes apart for easy clean up and the paint pans can be removed easily by pushing the end of the brush through a little hole at the bottom of each. I would recommend a small case or wrap as it can leak if you have very wet paints inside and be-careful when opening that it is right side up because sometimes the paint pans will fall out. Ive only had this happen with a very few, most fit snugly enough not to do this.
