They are good paints, but as with any water color set you get, I strongly suggest that you invest in a good brush. The brush starting falling apart during its first use. I personally water color as a hobby and prefer using just one good number 14, which works well for my purposes. As for the colors themselves, they work really well. The only inconvenience is that there is no white; otherwise, any other color can be mixed.
