Even though I think they are expensive (don't bother with the minis--they are only 1/3 of the large ones) they are well worth it using them in conjunction with this book. Rubbings, shading, painting--they go with all. I use them on wall quilts, clothing and landscapes. They are great on fabric and paper. The book explains everything in detail and gives you good ideas how to use them and how to make them permanent on fabric. This is a great introduction and resource book. If you are looking for advanced material, find another.
