This gesso was a big disappointment - my partner and I definitely made it sure it was shaken up enough before we used it, but it was still streaky and pretty transparent. Not good for gessoing board at all. If you need something that is very opaque, go for a different brand.

This gesso is titanium based and will not yellow or crack. No prior glue sizing is necessary. Acid free and non-toxic. When drythe gesso surface is a medium tooth. The plastic gallon tub snaps tightly closed to prevent your gesso from drying out. Great for professional and student use alike!
